This volume contains four articles by W A Leighton taken from the Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society from 1881-1885 and bound together in one volume. The articles comprise Vol IV (of the Transactions) pp193-292; Vol V pp265-297; Vol VII pp403-436 and Vol VIII pp269-412. There is also a crudely typed title page, some handwritten information on pagination attached to the prelims and a large bookplate to the front paste-down. Pages are tanned throughout with some minor foxing in places. There are tears to the edges of the last few pages with large losses to the fore-edge of the very last page - all text is legible. 8vo. c310pp total.
