Payment: We prefer to accept online payments via Paypal. However, we also accept payment by cheque, postal order or cash. However, please note that we can only accept cheques made out in GBP and drawn on a British bank.

If you buy a book through this site then you will automatically be taken to Paypal's secure payment site. If you would like to use another method of payment then please contact us at salopianbooks@hotmail.co.uk

Postage and Packing: Postage and packing for UK-based purchasers are charged at £2.75 for the first item and £2.00 for each subsequent item in the same order.

For overseas purchasers, please contact us at salopianbooks@hotmail.co.uk to discuss postage costs. Postage will be charged at cost depending on the method chosen. Overseas customers will be responsible for liaising with their local authorities and paying all customs duties, VAT, other duties and handling fees levied on items by the destination country. Please note: Any overseas orders submitted using the UK shipping rate will be cancelled.

Shipping: We always endeavour to ensure all books are posted within two working days of your order.

Almost all UK orders will be posted by Royal Mail. More expensive items will be posted via Royal Mail signed for services. The very heaviest items (over 2kg) will be posted by parcel mail.

Returns: Salopian Books will accept returns for any reason within 28 days of purchase. If you wish to return a book then please contact us at salopianbooks@hotmail.co.uk to arrange a return/refund.

We take great care with our book cataloguing but if a book does not appear to be as described please contact us within 28 days at salopianbooks@hotmail.co.uk so that we can arrange a return/refund of purchase price and postage.

Privacy Policy: All customer information obtained by Salopian Books is used purely for the successful completion of individual transactions and deliveries.

Contact information is used to send orders to customers and to contact the customer when necessary to successfully complete an individual order. Financial information is only used via our payment processor Paypal to bill the customer for ordered products.

Salopian Books never retains or stores any customer's financial details (eg credit or debit card details). In addition, Salopian Books never retains any other information about individual customers or their orders. No information is shared with third parties.
